Delivery & Returns

All our buildings are delivered by our own transport department. This enables us to ensure that every building arrives in perfect condition. Furthermore, our skilled craftsmen are always on-hand to swiftly erect your new building. All our buildings are covered by our standard warranty, details of which are available on request.

Conditions Of Sale:

All goods remain the property of Himley Garden Buildings until paid for in full.

All balance payments can be made by cash or Credit/Debit card, however credit card payments are subject to a 2.5% surcharge on the balance. We do not accept cheques for final balance payments.

Timber is a natural product, therefore splits, knot drops, warping, shrinking, swelling, twisting and copping, are natural defects and as such are an accepted condition of sale.

Base:

A firm, level base is required to erect the building on. There will be no guarantee offered on any building erected upon an uneven or sloping base area. For information on the various types of bases available please consult our sales staff.

Guarantee:

The guarantee covers your building against rot and manufacturer defects, 5 years for Shiplap Buildings and 15 years for Loglap Buildings. At the point of delivery we guarantee the building to be waterproof, however we do not guarantee the roofing felt against wind or storm damage.

Access & Delivery:

We require CLEAR and UNOBSTRUCTED access to the property. We DO NOT lift components over walls, fences or garages. In the event of access being obstructed or unsuitable, we will deliver the building components only. In this event we can be re-called to your site to erect the building once the components have been relocated, however this will incur a further callout charge of no less than £45.00 At the point of delivery Himley Garden Buildings accepts no responsibility for any damage caused to owners property, either internally or externally, during transportation and erection of buildings.

Care & Maintenance:

All Shiplap buildings are over sprayed with a Protek water based treatment, this is a base coat only and the building will need a further coat of suitable treatment shortly after erection and annually thereafter.

Planning Permission:

In most circumstances planning permission is not required because it is a Timber Sectional Building. However you will require planning permission if you live in an area of outstanding natural beauty or your building is within 20ft of a public right of way. Essentially it is the customers responsibility to check local authority regulations for both planning permission and building regulations.
